Loan Specialist

This role is a key part of the customer journey and is focused on helping clients build their plan as a support of the mortgage advisor, working closely with other team members to ensure timely and exceptional feedback for a seamless client experience.

You Have:
- Experience in processing the following types of Documentation: Income (CRA), Financials, Bank Statements, Contracts, and Property Documents.
- Focus on supporting reviewing mortgage lending and clearly explaining information to clients.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant
- Empathy and a HIGH focus on going above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organization skills
- Desire to grow, learn and willingness to EXCEED client expectations.
- Ability to adapt and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Technical aptitude, including experience with CRM’s, Office, and ability to learn other web applications.
- Experience with FILOGIX is an asset
- Ideally has experience reviewing lending documentation.
- A Mortgage Broker License in BC will be a requirement of this position. If you do not currently have a license we will work with the right candidate to find one.
