Do I Need To Pay For Your Services?
We get asked this question every single day, "Do I have to pay for the cost of your services as my mortgage broker?"
The short answer to that question is NO. In fact, in most cases, you do not have to pay a fee to work with your mortgage broker.
With a conventional mortgage, the actual bank, lender, or credit union, that we get your mortgage will pay our services. It's kind of like a finder's fee. They like the fact that we prepare your situation, your documents, and sending it directly to them. This way they don't have to do any of the work and they pay us for that.
In some circumstances, there may be a fee involved. This usually occurs when you generally don't qualify for a conventional lender. This could also happen if you're working with an alternative lender who is charging a fee with their mortgage.
We do not surprise our clients and would notify you far in advance of any charges.
